LEGO®-compatible Mecanum wheels

Description

This is a set of four LEGO®-compatible Mecanum wheels for your LEGO omni-directional robot!

The wheels have a diameter of 5 LEGO® modules (40mm) and a width of 2 modules. They work wonderfully on soft surfaces (carpet or such) but will slip on hard surfaces.

WARNING: i.materialise did a poor job at cleaning the polyamide powder before dyeing my order. The operator seemingly did not understand it was all moving parts and only cleaned the set superficially. This resulted in the dye gluing the leftover powder together with the wheels. I had a hard time extricating the smaller wheels and removing the glued polyamide powder. This also caused large portions of the model to be white. The model in pictures was hand-painted to hide the problem. For this reason I can only recommend people to order the model in natural white and not the default dyed orange (I cannot change the default material).
