Description

Spherigear Loop is a loop of spherigears. This puzzle combines the mechanism of Spherigear Transmission, the puzzle concept of Shift Happens and the "Gear Bracelet" concept by the Dutch puzzle inventor Ferdinand Lammertink (unpublished).  Each of the eight spherigears is connected to a little gear system with respectively 10, 20, 16, 12, 18, 15, 21, and 14. When the loop is pushed flat, four spherigears can turn independently of the other four. This way, the puzzle can be scrambled. The object is to unscramble the puzzle and to get each of the rings back to their starting state. Each pair of adjacent rings has a common factor. This is on purpose, to make the solving more difficult.
