This is a helix, the skeleton of which is made of short polytwistane-like rods. There are two ways to link those twistane units. This makes it possible to create this nice helix. Think of an organic molecule representation, hydrogen atoms omitted. But, would there be enough space for them?
Note that the blue rope shown on the pictures is not included.
