Description
This cap is for the MSR XGK EX stove. It is basically a OmniDawg with shortened legs so that the cap can be fitted under the overhead vaporization tube of the XGK EX. It takes a little patient juggling to get the cap in place but it works great under fire. The XGK Dawg will operate well with white gas (Coleman fuel) or kerosene just like with the stock flame plate. The cap will reduce the noise level by half or more, especially when at simmer levels. Some users report the cap will make for an improved simmering ability for your difficult-to-simmer XGK EX.
