First Asian 3D Print Fashion Show

In Malaysia, Materialise recently collaborated with Melinda Looi, an internationally acclaimed fashion designer, for Asia’s first 3D Print Fashion Show. Last Friday, the fashion show took place in 21st century metropolis that is Kuala Lumpur.
The idea of the fashion show was to demonstrate how 3D printing is again breaking down barriers in product design and leading to exciting new innovations in how products are conceived and manufactured. It was also the place where the winners of our 3D printed accessories challenge (inspired by birds) were shown to the world. If you like the stunning photos by Zung, Malaysia’s number one photographer, you might want to have a look at our Facebook and Google+ page to find tons more.
