ZBrush Tutorial: Cleaning Up a 3D Model for 3D Printing
Scanning and 3D printing is a match made in heaven. However, scans typically need some cleaning up before we can send them to a 3D printer. Luckily, 3D sculpting software ZBrush is perfect for doing the trick. ZBrush is great for design program for 3D modeling and 3D sculpting organic objects. You can start from scratch or import scans to work on. 13-year old Ritik wants everyone to wear 3D printed glasses
For a few years now, people in Belgium can raise money for charity during the radioshow ‘Music For Life’. This year, Ritik Mehta, a 13-year old boy from Antwerp with a passion for 3D printing, organizes its own Music For Life-event where he will 3D print glasses for the crowds. The money will go to a charity that helps kids in Africa and Asia to get glasses and see the world as they should. (more…)
