Pendant 'Helica'

Description

Unique DNA helix pendant. Inscribed are the base components of life: a repetition of the four nucleotides: 'G', 'T', 'C' and 'A'. This helix consists of twelve nucleotides, forming a single twist of a DNA molecule. DNA encodes the instructions of life in all known living organisms. The double helix is captured in an infinite loop, symbolizing the infinite circle of life. The triple repetition of GTCA is a rythmic repetition of the four base components of life (and a tribute to the movie Gattaca). The three repetitions refer to the holiness of the number three in many religions. It thus symbolizes the connectedness between all religions, all living creatures and ultimately also the wearer of this jewel.
