I am fascinated by abstract shapes, and here is one I've 3D printed with i.materialise. It is not extremely complex, but it looks great nonetheless. I really like the white material and the smooth look of the model.

I found the original model, a geometrical sculpture, on the website of George Heart. He’s a pioneer in using computer technology and solid freeform fabrication of sculptures. The model I printed is from one of this projects called Echinodermania I, II, and III. You can find a great paper on his website, describing the generating techniques of these sculptures.
